Social and environmental responsibility

• We choose recycled materials (e.g. PET)

• We use 100% cardboard and paper from sustainably managed forests.

• We removed all PVC many years ago.

Redesigned packaging

• We choose design-focused, yet lightweight packaging

• We reduce the volume of gift boxes and cardboard

• We are developing more and more packaging in single materials or with separable elements to make them easier to identify and sort

• +95% of our packaging comes from Europe

• Our production supports the green transition

• In March 2022, Sothys launched a new design and more environmentally friendly packaging for all body products in the "sensorial escape" series.

Is Sothys vegan?

Yes. We only use 2 ingredients that cannot be classified as vegan, these are:

• Marine collagen: Co-product from the food industry. Extracted from fish skin and fish scales which are normally waste after filleting fish. Used for its low molecular weight and effect on collagen synthesis. Used in Noctuelle - Renovative night cream.

• Synthetic beeswax: beeswax made synthetically, but may contain traces of natural beeswax. Used to make products thicker/denser consistency. Used, for example, in Nutritive - Replenishing ultra-rich cream, Sheer lipstick and Brow enhancer.

• From 2021/22, all Sothys' vegan products are marked with the "vegan" symbol.

What does vegan mean?

Vegan products do not contain any ingredients of animal origin or are tested on animals (no Sothys products or raw materials are tested on animals).
